Angier, North Carolina
Pressure Washing in Angier, NC, on Both Sides of the County Line
Angier lies in two counties. The town's own documents place it in northeast Harnett County, with public works lines running in both Harnett and Wake, about 21 miles from downtown Raleigh and ten miles west of Interstate 40 on NC 210. Every gallon in its water system is bought from Harnett County, so Harnett's drought notices reach Angier taps too. Soft wash house washing, roof cleaning, driveway cleaning and rust removal, with a written price from the same table on either side of the county line.

A Town Across the Harnett and Wake County Line
The Town of Angier describes itself as located in Harnett County and Wake County, in the northeast corner of Harnett, about 21 miles from downtown Raleigh, and ten miles west of Interstate 40 on NC 210. Its Public Works department maintains about 56 miles of water distribution lines in both counties, which is a practical measure of how far the town reaches over the line.
For a homeowner, the county line decides things like the property tax bill and which county's offices handle a permit. It does not change how a house is cleaned or what the cleaning costs. A soft wash house washing on the Wake side and one on the Harnett side use the same method: a cleaning solution at low pressure, time to work, then a rinse, with no high-pressure stream aimed at siding. Both are priced from the same Garner cost table.
If you have just bought a home near the line, your deed or tax bill tells you which county the lot is in, and your water bill tells you which system serves it. Those two answers can matter more for a wash than the town name on the mailing address, because the water supplier decides which drought rule applies, as the section below on Harnett's notice explains.
The Angier Depot on North Broad Street West
The town lists the Angier Depot at 55 North Broad Street West, on its own page for the building. A depot downtown is part of Angier's railroad history, and a downtown of that kind holds buildings of different ages and materials side by side.
Different ages mean different surfaces, and each gets the method its material calls for. Wood siding and trim get a low-pressure soft wash; wood is never blasted, because a high-pressure stream raises and splinters the grain. Older brick and mortar get a cleaning solution at low pressure, tried first on a spot out of sight, because mortar in an older wall can be softer than the brick around it. Painted surfaces get the same care. Concrete sidewalks, aprons and loading areas are the surfaces downtown that take high pressure, under driveway and concrete cleaning.
For a downtown business, commercial pressure washing is priced from the cost page's commercial band, $0.10 to $0.30 per square foot for flatwork and buildings, after a walk-through of the property. The written quote lists each surface, from the storefront face to the sidewalk in front of it, and the method each one gets.
Third in North Carolina for Growth, 2024 to 2025
Carolina Demography at UNC-Chapel Hill, reading the Census Bureau's 2025 city and town estimates on 27 May 2026, reported Wendell as the fastest-growing North Carolina municipality between 2024 and 2025 and Zebulon second, "followed by Angier (13.2%)." A year earlier, the NC Office of State Budget and Management listed Angier's 13.6 percent growth from July 2023 to July 2024 as 60th among the fastest-growing municipalities in the nation, and its 55.0 percent growth from April 2020 to July 2024 as 61st.
Growth at that pace means new siding, new roofs and new driveways across town. New vinyl collects pollen, dust and algae the same way old vinyl does, and it gets the same soft wash. Dark streaks on a new asphalt shingle roof are algae, and the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association says there is no evidence that the algae damages shingles; the streaks are cosmetic, so a roof soft wash is a choice about looks, made at low pressure, never with a pressure washer. A new driveway needs time to cure before its first high-pressure clean.
The town's parks are growing with it. Jack Marley Park houses the town's Parks and Recreation office. The town's page for a future Angier Town Park describes a concept design reached through Campbell Road and running parallel to Hunter's Way, with ballfields, tennis courts, playgrounds, multi-purpose fields, a splash pad, trails and picnic areas, and it notes that the concept may evolve; the park had not been built when this page was written.
Harnett County Water and Harnett County Drought Notices
Angier's water system has no source of its own. The town's Local Water Supply Plan report to the NC Division of Water Resources lists Harnett County as its supplier, at an average of 0.679 million gallons a day in 2023, shows no surface water or groundwater supply of the town's own, and records that Angier is required to comply with the county's water use restrictions.
That makes Harnett County's drought notices the ones to watch in Angier. Harnett posted a notice dated 6 July 2026, "Water Conservation Stage I, Voluntary Water Shortage Alert," listing voluntary measures that include: "Outside areas such as streets, driveways, service station aprons, parking lots, office buildings, exteriors of existing or newly constructed homes or apartments, sidewalks, or patios should not be washed." The notice states no exception for any business. No later notice lifting that stage was found when this page was checked on 27 September 2026, so check Harnett Water's site before booking an exterior wash.
The Town of Angier's own water conservation page gives everyday tips, such as fixing leaks and setting sprinklers to water the lawn rather than the pavement, and it does not mention pressure washing. Angier's own ordinance text on washing during a drought stage could not be found for this page, so no Angier-specific rule is stated here beyond the state filing and Harnett's notice. The guide to pressure washing and water restrictions sets Harnett's notice beside the rules for the other towns this site covers.
For planning, the Garner cost table puts a single-story house wash at $200 to $300, a two-story at $300 to $450, and a two-car driveway at $130 to $250, on county water or not.

We measure the surfaces, check the siding type, roof pitch, and water access, and give you a written price before anything is scheduled. No vague per-hour ranges.
Plan & Protect
You get a clear scope of which surfaces are included and which method each one gets. We pre-wet and rinse the beds, because the cleaning solution will damage plants if nobody manages the runoff.
Right Method, Right Surface
Soft wash on siding, roofs, and wood, where chemistry and dwell time do the work at low pressure. High pressure only on concrete, where it belongs. Wrong pressure on the wrong surface is the expensive mistake.
Final Rinse & Walk-Through
Everything rinsed down, plants flushed again, and a walk-through with you before we leave. If a stain did not come out, we tell you why rather than hoping you do not notice.

Angier Pressure Washing Questions, Answered
Angier sits partly in Wake County and partly in Harnett. Does this site cover both sides?
Yes. The business is based in Garner, and Angier is in the area it covers on both sides of the county line.
Does the county line change what a wash costs in Angier?
No. Both sides are priced from the Garner cost table: a single-story house wash $200 to $300, a two-story $300 to $450, a two-car driveway $130 to $250, and a roof soft wash $400 to $700, with a written price before any work.
Can I get my house washed during a Harnett County water alert?
Check the notice in effect first. Angier buys its water from Harnett County and, according to its state filing, is required to comply with the county's water use restrictions. Harnett's Stage 1 notice of 6 July 2026 is voluntary and asks that driveways, sidewalks, patios and the exteriors of homes not be washed, with no business exception stated. Check Harnett Water's site for the current stage and follow what it says.
Does the Town of Angier's water conservation page restrict pressure washing?
The page itself gives everyday conservation tips and does not mention pressure washing. That is not the whole answer, because Angier's water comes from Harnett County and the town must follow the county's restrictions; Harnett's notices are the ones to read during a drought.
What is planned at the future Angier Town Park off Campbell Road?
The town's page describes a concept design, reached through Campbell Road and running parallel to Hunter's Way, with ballfields, tennis courts, playgrounds, multi-purpose fields, a splash pad, trails and picnic areas. The town notes that the concept may evolve.
